About FOEM

Welcome to the Foundation for Osteopathic Emergency Medicine. 

The Foundation for Osteopathic Emergency Medicine (FOEM), established in 1998 as the philanthropic arm of the American College of Osteopathic Emergency Physicians (ACOEP), is dedicated to advancing research and education in emergency medicine. FOEM supports osteopathic physicians through various grants and annual competitions, including Case Study Poster, Research Paper, Clinical Pathological Case, Research Study Poster, and Oral Abstract competitions. By fostering scholarly activity and innovation, FOEM aims to enhance patient-centered, holistic emergency care in line with osteopathic principles.
